  • You may benefit from surgical excision if you:

    Healing, Expectations & Maintenance

    Healing after mole or cyst removal is typically straightforward:

    • Scars refine over 3–6 months, especially with silicone and laser support

  • While very safe, minor skin surgery does carry some risks:

    • Infection or delayed healing (rare with proper care)

    • Mild bleeding or bruising

    • Hypertrophic or widened scars (reduced with early intervention)

    • Recurrence of the lesion (rare but possible with cysts)
