He earned his MD from the University of Calgary, completed FRCSC Plastic Surgery training at the University of Alberta, and pursued fellowship training in oculoplastic/aesthetic surgery and breast reconstruction; he is now entering his 20th year of practice. Dr. DeSerres is known for his meticulous attention to detail and comprehensive consultations, grounded in the belief that exceptional results begin with a plan tailored specifically to you. He earned his BMSc and MD from the University of Alberta, completed a five-year Plastic Surgery residency (FRCSC), and pursued advanced fellowship training in Adult Craniofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto, focusing on reconstructive and aesthetic facial surgery. Committed to continuous growth, he regularly collaborates with leading plastic surgeons around the world to stay at the forefront of evolving techniques and innovations. Outside of medicine, he enjoys hockey, golf, tennis, snowboarding, and time with his family—grounding pursuits that reflect the balanced approach he brings to patient care.
